Europe - 99euro-films 2

Nine European directors come together to create one feature film without any artistic limitations. The only common thread: each one gets a shooting budget of 99 Euros. Developed as an extension of the much acclaimed original German project, "Europe - 99euro-films 2" pays tribute to film as an international medium.

Nine directors contribute their very own vision to a feature film, that combines each episode with its very own and complete artistic freedom. The film offers an invisible framework, where a mysterious stranger takes the viewer on a trip thoughout Europe, discovering the various locations and creating a secret inner storyline in between the single episodes. Never violating the artistic unity of each film, the stories come together to a vision of a modern and likewise morbid Europe, keeping alive a versatile view of its single identities.
