The Gamblers

Streaks of good luck and bad luck: Jojo and his best friend Tom are passionate gamblers. Then Jojo meets his girl cousin Kathrin again and falls in love with her. Both of them come into the inheritance of a mutual aunt: he inherits her dog, she inherits her money. Jojo takes the money and gambles it all away. With Kathrin′s help, they win the money back but lose it once more when a policeman who acts in his own authority gets in their way. Thus, Jojo and Kathrin flee to South France. Kathrin gets pregnant. Again, they win a lot of money in a casino. But the French police are hot on their trail. During a shootout, Tom gets killed, and Jojo blows up himself and the car. In the end, Kathrin pushes a stroller through park, with a new gambler in the stroller.
