Biography

Marie-Luise Schramm was born May 2, 1984, in Berlin. The daughter of an actors couple dropped out of school when she played in TV series such as "Max Wolkenstein" (1995) and starred in a continuous role in the TV series "Unser Charlie" (1995 to 1998). At the age of 15, Schramm starred in the TV movie "Der Sommer mit Boiler", and then appeared in several TV movies such as "Die Schönste aus Bitterfeld" and "Tatort: Bermuda". Schramm made her debut on the big screen in Sven Taddicken"s movie "Mein Bruder, der Vampir" ("My Brother the Vampire", 2001).

Author Sabine Brodersen who had already written "Sommer mit Boiler", then wrote the role of Mareike in Katinka Feistl"s "Bin ich sexy?" (2004) especially for Schramm. The portrayal of a cheeky suburban girl who dreams of becoming a model but lacks the body of a model won the up-and-coming talent the promotional German film award as "Best actress", among several other awards.

After starring in Vanessa Jopp"s "Komm näher" ("Happy As One", 2006) and further appearances on TV, for instance in the series "Die Familienanwältin" (2006-2007), Schramm returned to the big screen in 2008 and starred alongside Paula Kalenberg in "Was am Ende zählt" ("Nothing Else Matters"), directed by Julia von Heinz.

Marie-Luise Schramm also works as a dubbing voice.
